Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Internet Brands.
Financial Analyst
The interview process was pretty straightforward. It kicked off with a screening call, then moved into a three-round interview series with the management team. The questions during these rounds weren't super technical, more focused on how I thought about things. After that, I had a case study to work on, which took a bit of time, and then a final call with the CFO before they made me an offer.
- Could you explain the significance of Customer Lifetime Value (LTV) for a SaaS company and identify the key factors and metrics that impact it?
Financial Analyst
The interview process was pretty standard, starting with a phone screening. Then there was a meeting with a financial manager and director, followed by a case study, and finally an interview with the VP. The manager and director were a bit late and had some tech issues, so it wasn't the most organized, but the questions they asked were simple and focused on my experience. Basically, just research the company and connect your background to the job description, and you should be good to go.
- What are your thoughts on a scenario where total revenues remain the same but the price per unit goes up, and whether this presents a future concern?
- Could you share details about a course you particularly enjoyed and the reasons behind your preference?
Financial Analyst
The interview process was pretty straightforward and didn't involve a lot of questions. The recruiter mostly just walked me through what the role entails, asked about my background, and my reasons for being interested in both the company and this specific position. There was also a technical assessment or case study involved.
- Can you share details about your background and past experiences?
- What makes you interested in this particular role?
- What are your reasons for wanting to join this company?
