First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at International Paper.
Software Engineer
So I went to the career fair and was able to schedule an interview with the company. They asked me around 8 to 10 questions. It started off with me introducing myself, and then they asked 'Have you ever had an experience like ... and how did you respond to it?' types of questions.
- Tell us about yourself.
- What is your understanding of safety?
- Describe a time you had a conflict with a coworker and how you handled it.
Software Engineer
I had a good initial chat with International Paper. The interviewers were nice and professional, making it a comfortable experience. They asked simple questions, not too technical, which was good for focusing on how well I communicate and if I'm a good fit. It was a solid first step.
- Can you describe what International Paper does?
Software Developer
I had an on-site interview that involved three separate meetings with pairs of managers. They focused on general questions about my development background and some specific questions tied to my resume. There were no technical challenges. I also had plenty of time to ask my own questions about the role.
- How do you approach debugging challenges in your work?
