The interview process was smooth, friendly, and helpful. The questions were fair, and they seemed genuinely interested in me and my interests and experiences. They were quick to respond and had a quick turnaround time after each part of the process. It also included a writing assignment which I actually liked a lot. I felt like it gave me an opportunity to show them my skills.

It took several months to hear back after the application due date. I was told I was shortlisted and asked to do an extensive written exercise (48 hours). Then didn't hear back again for some time before being told I wouldn't be moving forward without any further detail. Asked about feedback, and was then shared some details, though again after waiting some time.

I applied online and then Crisis Group got back to me around 2-3 weeks later. The interview was over Skype. It felt pretty chill and friendly, and they started by telling me a bit about the organization and what the internship involved. Then they asked questions mainly about my background and my research experience. They also asked about teamwork, managing different tasks, and my future career goals. I got an offer a week after that, and I accepted.
