First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at INTERCOS.
System Administrator
I went through a few interviews. First, a 3rd party interviewed me, then internal HR, and finally the IT Manager. The IT Manager asked questions about realistic scenarios, not stuff you'd just read in a book. After all the interviews, I waited about a month for the offer.
- What is your understanding of the company's background?
- Can you describe your experience with infrastructure?
- Tell me about your experience with ticketing systems.
Customer Service Representative
The interview was professional, very empathetic and human. It included a more specific and technical description of past work experiences, and concrete examples of operational situations related to the job. There was also a description of areas for improvement and questions about the applications used. The interviewer was very talkative.
- Can you tell me about your professional background?
- Please demonstrate your proficiency in foreign languages.
- There will be an oral test in foreign languages.
Project Manager
- Tell me about your favorite beauty product.
- Tell me about your profession.
- Tell me about your university.
Sales Project Manager
I'll try to share my experience as objectively as possible: - First interview with HR, very nice and helpful (end of May). - Second interview with 2 managers from a specific business unit via Teams. They then contacted me again after 2 weeks for another interview with a different business unit directly at their office. The managers and team leaders seemed very passionate about their work, which motivated me even more to pursue a path with this company. After the last step, they told me they would let me know within 10 working days but they completely disappeared. I also wrote an email, thanking them for their time and showing my interest, kindly asking for feedback from them, but nothing. I then received an automated email around mid-July. The company as a whole made a great impression on me and it personally enriched me to speak with the various managers, which is why I don't feel like giving negative feedback. But they should improve their recruitment process on some points: - I found the conversion times of the recruitment pipeline between one step and the next very long compared to their competitors and multinational corporations; - From the start, there wasn't much clarity on the contractual form/average salary for that type of role and experience, even in advanced stages; - I start from the premise that it's important to always give feedback to allow the candidate to work on areas for improvement. However, if a person shows strong interest in your company, agreeing to even have an additional in-person step, whether the final feedback is positive or negative, you expect 'at least' a 2-minute call, not an automated email that arrives after 3/4 weeks.
- In your opinion, what qualities should a salesperson possess to be successful?
- Is the world of cosmetics something you are truly interested in?
- Name your 3 favorite makeup brands and explain your reasoning.
