Customer Support Representative
I started with a video screening, which I didn't like. Then I talked to the recruiter, who was great, based in the U.S. After that, I met the manager and associate manager. The next step was a 2-hour online interview with 4 interviewers, 30 minutes each, and 5 people were shadowing. It was nice meeting everyone and the workplace seemed good, people seemed friendly. But the whole process was too long and that 2-hour online interview is not practical for a full-time schedule. They said I'm not quite ready for Intercom yet, to keep applying, but I don't think I will.
- Could you start by telling us about yourself?
- How do you handle feedback, and can you share an instance where it went well?
- Can you also share an instance where feedback didn't go so well?
Customer Service Specialist
The interview process was really fast and went super smoothly. Everyone I interacted with was very nice and helpful. The final stage was a 2-hour interview with three different managers, but they managed the time well, and the conversations felt friendly. They were quick to let me know the next steps, so I didn't have to wait long for a response.
- Can you describe how you'd manage a conflict that arises at work?
- What's your approach when you find yourself swamped with work?
- How would you explain a technical problem to someone who isn't technical?
Customer Support Representative
The process had 4 rounds. The first was a one-way video interview with 3 questions to answer on video (what you do when you don’t know the answer, software you master, memorable service experience) and 5 written scenario questions (respond to a customer email). After submitting, I got an email two days later to schedule the second interview. The second round was a very casual phone interview with a recruiter who reviewed my resume and asked some behavioral questions (tell me a time when..). They advanced me and scheduled a second phone interview with a manager. This interview was also semi-casual, with resume review and several behavioral questions, plus details about the position. The last step, according to their website, was an on-site interview, but I didn’t make it. I was told my answers weren’t detailed enough. It’s a cool company, but I’m disappointed with the many hoops for this rejection. 3 interviews for that type of rejection is a bit much.
- Tell me about a time when you experienced an injustice.
