I had my first interview with Interactive Brokers for a Senior Java Developer position in Hong Kong, although the recruiter was from India. The process started with a PI test, followed by an HR screen. I stopped after the HR screen. I was prepared for algorithm questions but didn't get to that stage. I'm not sure what went wrong. Ideally, I would have preferred a technical interview before the HR interview, especially since I prepared for questions related to projects using their API, specifically TWS API and Client Portal API.

This was the longest process I've been through. First, there was an online personality test and a timed 'homework' assignment emailed to me. Then, I had on-site interviews. The first interviewer gave me a Java and math test similar to ones seen elsewhere, followed by a discussion about my experience. The second interviewer had me write a small program by hand and also tested my ability to determine the outcome of code snippets, ending with a short chat. The third interview was less technical and focused on my background. I was scheduled to meet the department manager last, but due to a scheduling conflict, we had very limited time. So, there were four separate on-site interviews in total. About a week later, I received a rejection email.

The whole process had 5 parts. First, an online MCQ test with 20 Java and 3 aptitude questions. Then, a Predictive Index assessment with two parts: 'What you are' and 'What others expect from you.' If you passed that, there was a pen and paper test on Day 1 with 12 questions covering Java, aptitude, and databases. After being selected on Day 1, the final two rounds were at the IB campus in Mumbai. Round 4 was a 2-2.5 hour technical interview focusing on Java, programming, and problem-solving, including puzzles. The last round was an interview with the MD of IB.
