The interview process started with a pre-placement talk, followed by a group discussion. Candidates who got selected then had to take a psycho-analytical test and an aptitude test. After that, the shortlisted students had to pass an accent round, which would then lead to the final round, a personal interview.

The interview process was pretty straightforward. IB is growing, so they needed to find good people for customer service. It began with a phone call where the manager made sure to say it was a salaried role, not commission-based. Then, there was an in-person interview where they seemed to really focus on seeing if I would fit in with the company culture.

I got through all the interview steps, about 5 of them, where I had to show my skills in 5 different languages. Unfortunately, after that, they informed me about a company merger, and the role was put on hold. I haven't heard back since. Overall, the interview process was quite smooth and easy, and the interviewers were pleasant and asked relevant questions.

  • Could you elaborate on your experience and your motivation for applying for this job, in various languages?
