First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Inter-Con Security.
Strategic Operations Lead
It was three rounds in total. First was a recruiter call to see if I was interested and fit, then a staffing and talent call to talk more about my work history, and finally a video call with the department leader. The whole thing was really straightforward and everyone was friendly.
- Tell me about driving improvements with your staff and managing data.
Recruiter
The hiring process took about two to three weeks and involved good communication throughout. It started with a phone screen, followed by two Zoom interviews, and concluded with onsite interviews. Near the end, during a final phone call, I was told I'd receive an offer the next day, but that didn't happen. Instead, I got a generic rejection email three days later.
- Describe your approach to filling challenging positions.
Security Trainer
I talked to a recruiter first, then I talked to a corporate recruiter, and then I had an interview with the National Account Manager for that contract. He mentioned that he skipped a part of the process where I'd be interviewed by the director of training to check my understanding of employee development.
- Can you tell me about your experience with HR systems such as Salesforce?
Scheduler
So I had this phone screening on Tuesday, and it was pretty chill. The person interviewing me asked about my resume, told me about the job, and some stuff about the company. They set up a second interview for later that week. Thursday was the second interview, but this guy wasn't as into it. I answered his questions enthusiastically, and he asked if I was good with the job, the hours, and the location. He then mentioned I'd be meeting the hiring manager, so I figured I nailed that one too. The weekend passed, then Monday, and still nothing. By Thursday, I hadn't heard back, so I sent an email to show I was still interested and eager. Sadly, I got no reply at all—no update, not even a heads-up if the job was filled. It was a bummer because I thought they liked me and I had the skills for the next step. The recruiting team really dropped the ball.
- Could you describe a typical day in your current role as a scheduler?
