Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Inter-American Development Bank.
Research Fellow
This company’s hiring process is a complete mess. They scheduled me for interviews with a department I wasn't even referred to, without any explanation. Their internal communication is so bad they didn't realize I was interviewing with two different departments. They ignore emails, take forever to hire (five months!), and don't care about candidates' time. They're really good at wasting people's potential.
- Could you tell me about your background?
Research Assistant
The process had a few interview rounds. Most questions were about my research background, my familiarity with statistical software, and what I want to do in the future. They also asked about my professional and academic goals and if I was thinking about pursuing a PhD.
