I interviewed for this role and went through about 4 or 5 rounds. It was a pretty straightforward process, and all the interviewers were super nice and respectful. They asked a lot of technical questions and some about recruiting, which I think helped me show what I know. It was a good interview process overall.

The interview process was not that long for a 3 round process. Lots of questions required very detailed responses, so I advise using different job roles and your experiences/accomplishments to answer them, not just a role that relates to the position. I suggest using the STAR method.

Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

So we have 3 rounds in the interview process. First, there's a phone chat with HR to go over your background, experience, and why you're keen on the job. Then, a video call with the hiring manager, where they'll dive deep into your skills and how you'd fit into the team, possibly with some technical or 'what if' questions. Lastly, you'll meet with senior folks or future teammates to see how you vibe with the company culture and wrap up any loose ends. Depending on the role, this might involve a case study or a presentation.

Got contacted by someone from the company for a contract role with Adobe. The first recruiter was good at setting up the call and collecting my details (resume, contact info, etc.), and they were also good at following up. Things got a bit messy when I was passed to a colleague (K.G). I got the impression they weren't really focused on finding a good mutual fit, but more on just filling the position. Here's why I think that: 1) They asked repetitive questions about the tech stack after I already discussed my background (not sure if they know the industry well). They even suggested I apply for a different startup role that had nothing to do with my experience, even after I said no because of work-life balance and admitted I didn't have ML or senior back-end experience. 2) They kept asking me for the questions the interviewer asked, via text twice, and didn't even bother asking how the interview went... My understanding is this is to help the next person if you don't pass. That would've been okay if they had given me some study material, but I had to find everything on Glassdoor, and the actual interview questions were different from the commonly suggested algorithms. 3) After the final interview, we finally spoke on a call the next week (after they missed our scheduled call 2 days prior), and she mentioned her next call was with the client but wanted my feedback first. I was told I'd hear back ASAP about the decision after that call. An hour later, nothing. A day later, nothing, a week, nothing. Overall, this has been a really bad experience.
