I applied through Naukri and had a technical video interview initially, mostly checking knowledge. I felt I answered most questions well. When I followed up with HR, my status was on hold. After chasing them, they cited internet issues and my camera being off at the start of the video call as feedback, which I found strange. They then mentioned needing a face-to-face interview, which I was open to. I didn't receive an invite, but after more follow-ups, a 45-minute video interview was scheduled. This went well, but the feedback was that I don't know SQL, despite knowing Django ORM and SQLAlchemy. They also asked about UI frameworks, and I mentioned I know them but haven't worked with them extensively. This feedback was surprising as I have a strong SQL background and over 4 years of experience. While the HR was helpful, the panel didn't seem to be looking for honest candidates, and the feedback lacked logical sense, making it a waste of time.
