The interview process was conducted online during Covid, but it's currently done in person. It was pretty straightforward. After applying a few months prior, I had a screening phone call. Although I was initially rejected during the screening call, I was scheduled for an interview a week later and then received an offer.

The interview process had 3 steps. First was a screening with corporate HR, then a phone screen with the hiring manager, and finally onsite interviews with HR, the Hiring Manager, and a potential peer. Coordinating interview times was a bit tricky since I had to go through a corporate rep who would then contact the Hiring Manager, and so on.

A recruiter from IDT reached out to me on LinkedIn. Even though I'm not in biotech, I decided to explore the opportunity. I had an initial 30-minute call with the recruiter. After that, the hiring manager wanted to speak with me. During our 30-minute video call, he asked why I applied (which was strange since I didn't initiate the application) and what my interest was in joining the company. I felt like I had to heavily sell myself, and it didn't feel like a mutual discussion. The conversation itself was okay, but afterward, I was ghosted and only received a generic rejection email. What was particularly disappointing was not getting a personal email from the recruiter who initially contacted me. The whole process felt impersonal, making me feel like just another number. The hiring manager even boasted about the high volume of interviews they conduct, which suggests this impersonal treatment might be common once you're hired. I wouldn't recommend this company.

The first interview was a phone call with someone who turned out to be a recruiter, though I had to ask to confirm their role. The next three interviews were video calls, and two of those (the 3rd and 4th) were group interviews. The group interviews involved R&D and manufacturing personnel. During one of the group interviews, the interviewers seemed disengaged, almost dismissive. Despite the interviews going well, I didn't receive an offer and wasn't given any reason why. I tried contacting the recruiter for feedback but haven't heard back.
