It was a really nice and welcoming chat where they shared a lot about their past projects. They asked some cool questions and gave good insights into their scientific work, which made me think of more questions to ask them. Overall, a really good and easy experience.

I applied online and heard back after a few weeks. The first step was a phone screen. Then I had a panel interview with people from the team and another manager. After that, they did a reference check and called everyone I gave them. Finally, I got an offer. It took about six weeks from applying to getting the offer. They asked standard interview questions both times. The company really cares about "fit" and "culture." It’s important to show your technical skills, but also that you can work on your own with little supervision. They seem to train people, so you don't need to know everything from the start.

I applied to the job and about a week later, I got an email for a phone interview. After that went well, I sent the hiring manager a letter of recommendation and was told they'd let me know about onsite interviews really soon. I never heard back, even after sending follow-up emails.
