I took a first online assessment that had questions about Excel, R, Python, and SQL. After that, I had a chat with HR. Then, I was sent another online assessment on HackerRank which included three LeetCode medium questions. I managed to pass all the test cases on that. I later received an email saying I didn't proceed further, and they mentioned their policy is not to provide feedback. It's really annoying to go through all the online assessments correctly, only to have your resume screened afterwards and then not be told the reason for not moving forward. If you're going to make candidates do these tests, at least explain why they aren't moving on.

First I had a recruiter call, then a Flexy quiz on SQL, statistics, and Excel. After that, I interviewed with HR. Then came a HackerRank test with 3 questions. Next, I had a two-part technical interview on Zoom: a basic programming exercise and a verbal discussion of a hypothetical case problem. The case problem part was weird because I wasn't sure if my answers were good enough. The final step was an in-person interview that was supposed to be 3-4 hours but went long, ending up at 5.5 hours with four separate interviews. They told me they were interviewing four other candidates simultaneously, which felt inconsiderate. A better order would be: 1. Flexy Quiz, 2. HackerRank, 3. Technical Interview, 4. Get-to-know-you Zoom, 5. In-person interview to confirm fit. Only strong candidates get to the last round, and they typically stop interviewing others once they've found a potential match. The office was surprisingly bleak and cramped despite employees being formally dressed. The final interview with the COO was in a large, sparsely furnished part of the building with few people, contrasting sharply with the earlier cramped space. The COO mentioned "work-life balance" but expected at least 5 hours of overtime weekly. The pay seemed good, but the culture felt off.
