Behavioral Case

The entire interview process took quite a while and was time-consuming. To break it down: First, I got a call from the HR Recruiter for a phone interview. Then, I interviewed with the director over the phone. After that, I had a video interview with the VP. Next, I was given a case study that took about an hour to complete. Finally, there was a face-to-face interview involving the director (again), HR, and one of the supervisors. Unfortunately, I didn't receive a job offer.

So I had this interview with two managers from HR, and there was another person interviewing with me. I've done group interviews before, but this felt different. It was pretty obvious they weren't that interested in me; they were way more focused on the other person. I did answer the questions, but they really wanted someone with more experience, and it was clear I wasn't in the running, especially since the other candidate was super qualified. They ended up splitting us up, and one of the managers told me, 'I won't see you again, so good luck with your job search.' That's when I knew for sure I didn't get it. The other girl, meanwhile, went on to meet with the company heads. I was really upset, and I think it might have been because of my age.

I applied online through Indeed. An HR person emailed to set up a phone screen. She was super nice and laid out the process. I felt like they were really upfront with me from the start about the salary and the job. I met with five people and my final interviews were with the head of the call center and the head of HR. They wanted to make sure it was a good fit for me too, not just for them -- first time I felt this in an interview.
