The interview process was pretty standard: first, a recruiter called me, then I had a virtual interview with a manager. After that, I went for an onsite panel interview with a few managers and employees. I thought it went pretty well, so I was kinda surprised and disappointed by the lack of communication afterwards. It would have been nice to get a response, even if they decided to go with someone else.

It was pretty easy, honestly. The questions weren't hard, and I just had to talk about my past jobs, any training or certs I have, and other stuff relevant to the role.

The interview was very pleasant, focusing on the person, their technical skills, and problem-solving abilities. They make you feel comfortable throughout the process. HR is very attentive and responsive to your questions. Asking questions to the interviewers is well-received.

I had a phone screening with an internal recruiter. They asked me if I knew about Integer and to explain my understanding of the company. The recruiter then gave a standard description of the company. When I was asked about resume gaps, I explained about a family member's illness and how I took time to rest and recharge. The recruiter's response was, "What's to say your family member won't get sick again, and you'll leave this job too?" I then told the recruiter I was not comfortable continuing the interview and wanted to withdraw my application. They hung up right after. I felt the question was very disrespectful and lacked tact, especially for a company focused on improving patient lives. If they were concerned about my resume gaps, I would have preferred a rejection over such a question about my family's illness. This interaction showed me how the organization treats its employees. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.
