Behavioral Presentation

The interview process involved 4 initial conversational interviews, all set up quickly. The fifth and final stage was a panel interview where I had to give a presentation. I didn't get any feedback after any of the interviews, which was really disappointing, especially after the final one. I just got an automated email saying they chose someone else. It feels really disrespectful to candidates who put in the time and effort, a personal call with feedback would've been much better. I'm bummed about not getting the job and feel let down by the lack of respect.

I had an initial 30-minute screening call with a recruiter, which was pretty standard. They seemed really keen to talk to me, asked about my aspirations, and really sold the company. After that, I was invited to the first round with the hiring manager and a US-based Manager from the team. We had an hour-long interview scheduled for a Friday afternoon because they had limited availability. The whole thing felt a bit cold, like they weren't really engaged, or maybe it was just the end of the week. The hiring manager, who I'd be reporting to, only asked one question. The US-based Manager, who wouldn't be my direct manager, ran most of the interview and they only asked 5 questions in total, finishing 30 minutes early. I ended up asking them about the team, culture, and company. I got an automated rejection the next week with no feedback, so I had to chase the recruitment team for it.

I had a call with the recruiter, hiring manager, and services leadership. Then I traveled to their corporate headquarters for an in-person interview with the leadership team. I got the offer after I got back from the trip.
