I applied online and heard back a month later to schedule a phone screening. The call lasted about an hour, and the HR recruiter was really nice, explaining the job details which helped me prepare. The interview had standard questions about the role and my past experience. I interviewed with two people, but one left halfway through, which I thought was a bad sign. Even though there are bad reviews about the environment, I didn't experience anything negative and both interviewers were professional. I was told a week later they hired someone else.

Applied online and heard back from an HR Recruiter via email about 5 days later to schedule a 30-minute call. Had to clarify the time zone difference (CST/EST) a few times. Then, an HR Coordinator from another office reached out to set up a Skype interview and an in-person interview. The Skype interview happened, and two days after that, I interviewed in person with the Director and a Sr. Program Officer. The initial recruiter contact was a bit frustrating as they seemed unfamiliar with my application and asked general resume questions. However, the HR Coordinator was great - responsive, helpful, and informative. The person I Skyped with was nice and answered my questions about the role and organization as best they could. The in-person interview went well. They really focus on behavioral event interview questions, as stated on their website. I was told I'd hear back in 1-2 weeks, but I had to email the recruiter twice for updates and waited a full month for a response after a final follow-up email. They mentioned promoting from within, which made me feel like they might have already had an internal candidate, and I was just going through the motions.
