Behavioral Technical Coding Case Presentation

I really liked how fast they got back to me. It began with a 15-min chat with an engineer, which was surprisingly genuine and fun. They asked typical behavioral questions and some general coding questions to see my thinking. The next morning, I got invited to do a case study, which I had 48 hours to complete. It was tough but really enjoyable and doable if you focus. The morning after I submitted it, I was invited for an onsite interview. The onsite involved building an agentic system, including a frontend and backend for a specific task, much like the case study. To finish, I presented my work to some engineers and had to explain my design and implementation choices. I got the offer the very next morning.

Technical Coding Presentation

Had a quick initial screening, which was fine. Then, I had to complete a 48-hour project involving building a full web-scraping AI chatbot with both front-end and back-end components. The final round was an in-person, 5-hour version of a similar task. It feels like they might be using interviews for free work, especially since they keep reposting the same position and mentioned over 3,000 people have applied. I'm not sure if they're serious about hiring.

Case Presentation Behavioral

I had a great time with my case study in the office! The team was super helpful, engineers gave me advice and set up meetings with others. My advisors also helped me structure my application. I wasn't sure about collaboration for the case study at first, but they were amazing and helped out quickly. The case study itself was tough but rewarding given the time. It's important to explain your thinking during the presentation if parts of the functionality aren't working. More upfront info on team consulting expectations would be good. I also really liked talking to the co-founder, Sumo. They've really grown Instalily technically and culturally, and it's cool how in-tune the co-founders are with the team. After that, I spoke with two engineers about their backgrounds, and they seem like a really sharp and solid group.
