It was a chill interview, they asked some basic questions. Interviewers were nice and you won't feel stressed. They start with algo problems, then specific language or domain problems. The process takes weeks, which is a bit slow.

I got a message from a recruiter on LinkedIn who handled my application the whole way. We had a phone call first, which was like a screen. Then, I had my first official round over Zoom with a senior engineer. We talked about how I approach problems, system design, and they checked my soft skills. It was about an hour. They told me I was moving to the final round, which was supposed to be all on-site and take up most of the day, like 3 hours. This was scheduled for about 5 days later. The Friday before that, with 4 days to go, another recruiter, who was filling in because my main recruiter was off, called to say my interviewers weren't available anymore. It took him maybe a minute to tell me, and I was left wondering why he was laughing so much and what the issue was. It took 3 days to reschedule, and they had to split it into two parts, one virtual on Zoom and the other in-person as planned. This felt like the first sign of disorganization. It was a bit annoying, but I was willing to let it go. But after driving home from vacation and spending 2.5 hours at their office, my main recruiter, who had greeted me and given me a tour, just vanished. She said she'd update me the next day, but nothing happened. Six business days later, I emailed her asking for an update, and still no reply. It's been 17 days now, and I don't expect to hear back, and honestly, I wouldn't work with them even if they did respond. It was super unprofessional, messy, and rude. Job hunting is tough, especially now. I get that it's hard to follow up with everyone early on, but when you've gone on-site for a final round, the recruiter really should give an update, even just an email to close the loop. Looking back, I'm glad I didn't get an offer from them.
