First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Inspire11.
Managing Consultant
So, I got a message from a recruiter about some openings they had. First, I had a quick chat with the recruiter for a screener. After that, I had an informational interview with a Principal. The next step was a case interview where I had to prepare a presentation about a case prompt they gave me, and I had to submit the slides beforehand. This was done in person at their office. Then, I met with a Managing Director for the final behavioral interview before they extended an offer.
- Can you review a client problem and address their primary concerns?
- How would you develop an engagement strategy for a client issue?
Principal Consultant
The whole interview thing took about three months and had five parts. The phone screens and one-on-ones went fine. After that, they had me do a case study and a presentation. They gave me three options and I picked one to present. When I got there for the onsite, they told me one of the interviewers couldn't make it and they had someone else. The two interviewers were about 15 minutes late. One of them was really into it, asking questions and giving feedback while I presented, but the other one was on his phone and left early for a client call. Since they started late, the engaged interviewer let me go over time to finish up and talk about my work, saying I did well. I thought it went great until HR stopped me on my way out. HR told me there were some changes at the local office and it might take months to hear back. It was weird they made me come onsite and do a whole presentation before telling me this. Even if I messed up the presentation, it doesn't seem like HR and the interviewers could have talked about anything that fast. Total waste of my time.

The CEO needs to make operational improvements to scale the business for future acquisitions. His team has identified efficiency opportunities and pain points hindering scale. Inspire11 has been engaged to help the CEO's team assess the business and plan a transformation program using modern technologies to maximize revenue and margin growth from acquisitions, while controlling SG&A and project delivery cost increases. As the Solution Owner, your main job is to help the CEO and his team develop the strategy and roadmap for this transformation initiative to meet his objectives.
Consultant
I was first reached out by HR and scheduled a phone call. It ended up being much longer than planned, like over an hour. The HR person was really good at explaining their processes, clients, roles, and the history of Inspire11, which definitely made me more interested. After that, I had a call with one of their consultants who had only been with the company for a little over a year and in the industry for about the same amount of time. The call lasted around 30 minutes. She asked some really strange, basic questions, like she just looked up 'Interview Questions' online. It reminded me of when I was first applying for jobs in high school. I tried to overlook the awkwardness, hoping the next person I spoke to would be more knowledgeable about the job and company. Unfortunately, I later found out I wasn't moving forward and they couldn't give me any reasons why. This whole hiring process seems flawed, and it makes me wonder about their other company procedures.
- What aspects of your current job do you find enjoyable, and what do you dislike?
- Can you describe a situation where you felt completely overwhelmed?
