Digital Marketing Manager
We rescheduled our initial phone call three times. When we finally connected, the recruiter seemed disengaged and read from a script without offering any feedback or showing personality. Despite sending a detailed thank you email, I received an automated rejection four days later, even though they initially said I'd get a response within 24 hours. Given the multiple reschedules and the eventual call, I expected more than an automated rejection with no specific feedback.
- Can you walk me through your previous work experience?
- What are your salary requirements for this role?
- Are you open to commuting to our office location?
Marketing Manager
The process was well organized and the recruiter was great. It was a long process, but they were easy to get a hold of and communication was great. I interviewed 5-6 times with various team members, both in-person and virtually.

Marketing Manager
Applied and had a recruiter call about a week and a half later. Was told I'd hear about the first interview round the next week. Reached out a few days later, heard nothing until a week after that. Asked about availability for in-person interviews on a specific date the next week and said yes immediately. Never got confirmation. Followed up the following week, the day before the supposed interview. Finally got a response that in-person interviews were moved a week later. Said I was available and got a confirmation a few days later. Had the in-person interviews, which were typical but disorganized. One interviewer didn't have questions prepared, which was awkward. Asked about next steps and was told those were the final interviews. Followed up with the recruiter for a week with no response, then was told I'd have to do another interview. Completed the real final interview later that week. Followed up with the recruiter for two weeks via email and phone with no response. Called again and was sent to voicemail. Contacted a different recruiter who responded immediately and said they'd pass along the message. Then got a call from the initial recruiter who said the person who interviewed me "liked someone else better" with a nasty attitude. This whole thing took about two months. Seriously, if you need a job, look elsewhere. The disrespect for applicants' time is abysmal and has really soured my view of Inspire Brands. Go somewhere you'll be respected.
