It started with an AI prompt asking me to review my resume. Then, I had a phone interview with a recruiter. The next step is an interview with the hiring manager.

I had an initial call with the internal HR recruiter. The conversation stalled when salary expectations came up, and it ended abruptly with a promise to connect with the hiring manager and follow up by the end of the week. I reached out to both the recruiter and the hiring manager to express my flexibility on salary, emphasizing the job's fit with my career goals and industry interests. Despite several follow-ups, I heard nothing back. About a month later, I received an automated rejection email from Workday.

The process started with a phone screening and then 2 back-to-back 30-minute interviews with upper management. The interviewers were great, however, even though I didn't get an offer, HR could have at least sent a rejection letter. Not taking a minute to thank potential employees for taking the time to go through the tedious application process and interviews is simply unethical.
