The process was pretty straightforward, just one interview. They tend to ask very technical questions along with a basic personality question. Be aware, they will always pay you the bare minimum, which I found out the hard way. I was hired at 67k while someone else, who I was better than, was brought in at 78k. I was promised a raise later but never got it, and the raise I did receive was only 4k.

Insperity seemed great but ultimately turned out to be a huge pain. My recruiter kept me on the hook. Things went smoothly and fast until after my in-person interview. My recruiter strung me along, saying they were still in the middle of the process. She hardly ever replied to my questions even though she insisted I was still in consideration. I didn't get a clear answer for about a month and a half. When I did, it was a form letter. It's unclear why they did this, after telling me to hang on multiple times and after a generally good interview. This doesn't even include the confusing instructions for tests and background checks. Insperity started strong but was a disorganized mess afterwards.

They reached out to me about the role, and we set up the rest of the process via email. They emphasized multiple times that it was a C#/.NET job and that the questions would be about that tech stack. They also sent some emails detailing what to expect. However, when the interview day arrived, the actual questions were focused on SQL and Database concepts, along with some Object-Oriented Design (OOD) principles. There were no C#/.NET questions at all, which was unexpected, and I'm not sure if there was a misunderstanding or if the interviewer thought I was interviewing for a different role.
