Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Insperity.
Sales Consultant
I was approached on LinkedIn by a recruiter, the phone call went great! Then had another interview with an HR rep, that went great also, I had another interview in person with the hiring manager. It was pleasant, then came the ghosting! No follow up on the candidacy for over a month. Completely ghosted! As you see in another post, they have a tendency to ghost.
- What past actions have you taken to improve business retention?
- Describe your experience handling challenging prospects.
- What results did you achieve in those situations?
Sales Consultant
The hiring process was a bit confusing. I spoke with two different hiring managers and even their boss. One manager said they wanted me on their team, and another told me I was a perfect fit and shouldn't wait. But then, a few days later, the recruiter called to say they weren't moving forward because they weren't sure if I was a strong enough sales "hunter." I didn't ask for more details because I was already put off by the lack of diversity in their senior leadership, especially for an HR company. I've seen pictures on LinkedIn since then, and the teams are all white.
- Can you tell me about your past experience?
- What makes you interested in working here?
- How have you handled rejection when dealing with potential clients?
Sales Consultant
The interview process was easy and straightforward. The recruiter was always in contact and very quick to communicate. Overall, a positive process. Keep up the good work and you will continue to have good talent.
- Can you share your reasons for seeking a new role?
- Could you introduce yourself?
