I went through several interview stages: a recruiter call, then a chat with the hiring manager, and finally a panel interview that was tricky to schedule. They said I'd hear back by a certain date. The date passed and I didn't hear anything, so I had to reach out myself to get an update. Then I was told I didn't get the job. It's a bummer not to get an offer, but the lack of communication and having to chase them for an answer was disappointing after all the effort I put in. They should at least update candidates within the timeframe they promise, especially since they talk so much about their great work culture. I won't be applying again.

Applied to the Clinical Trial Manager role in Bridgewater, NJ. A recruiter reached out for an initial HR interview. This was followed by a 'screening' interview with the hiring manager. The hiring manager didn't seem very involved or knowledgeable about the specific responsibilities of the position, and wasn't clear about whether the role was to meet a country or global CTM need. This second interview, called a 'screening' interview, lasted only 20 minutes out of the scheduled 30. It mostly involved asking me to talk about myself and ask her questions. When I asked about the work environment at Insmed and what it's like working there, she described it as 'unlike big pharma with clear responsibility, we are like a big family everyone helps each other out…'

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview process was very professional and the team was excellent. It involved three main stages: first a recruiter call, then a call with the hiring manager, and finally an on-site interview. The on-site day was quite extensive, featuring five 30-minute interviews, a 60-minute presentation with a Q&A session, and a visit to the animal facility. I was really impressed with the company culture, and the location and campus were outstanding.

Behavioral Technical

My interview journey started with a 30-minute Zoom chat with the recruiter. They mentioned there would be three interviews in total. The actual interviews were: first, an intro with the recruiter, then a chat with the hiring manager, and finally, three separate interview sets that lasted about 45-50 minutes each. These were with: A) Two peers who would be my colleagues, B) Two senior/executive managers, and C) A technical manager and supervisor. Just so you know, getting a call to schedule an interview doesn't mean you'll get the job. I'd been called a few times before, only to be rejected after they hired an internal candidate. I kept getting good feedback throughout, but I'm sure that's just how they are.
