First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Insite Managed Solutions.
Consultant
I applied online. First, I had a 30 minute call with the Talent Acquisition Specialist. They told me I'd need to prepare a case study for the next stage, which might involve a presentation, and also take a 1-hour General Aptitude assessment. Then, I spoke with the hiring manager for 30 minutes. After that, I was supposed to meet with an executive, but that meeting was rushed and unproductive because the executive had another commitment. The executive ended the call early, and I didn't even get to ask all my questions before they had to leave. The next week, I got a rejection email from a different TA specialist, with no feedback. The whole process took about 4.5 hours.
- Are you located within a reasonable driving distance to the office?
Consultant
I got an unsolicited email about major company changes and wanting to reconnect. I'd interviewed years ago and was ghosted, so wasn't thrilled. Figured I'd chat anyway. We had a call, and I'm not sure what changes she meant because the starting pay for a consultant who travels 80% and works 80hr weeks is crazy low ($55k). I've paid people at lower levels more. You also have to live in Ft. Myers, which is nice but pricey. It also makes you wonder what kind of experienced/knowledgeable call center consultant a customer gets for $55k. She did mention $90k was possible, but that's still ridiculously low for the expectations. I obviously turned it down. More annoying since they knew my requirements from last time, which wouldn't have decreased.
- They require a very time-consuming assessment and didn't follow up.
Consultant
It was a 4 step interview process. Started with a phone screen, then a data analysis portion, followed by a web interview with the Managing Director, and concluding with an interview with the CEO. Throughout this process, they assessed how I read and interpret data situations. It was very relevant to the position.
- What insights can you derive from the data?
