I applied online. First, I had a 30 minute call with the Talent Acquisition Specialist. They told me I'd need to prepare a case study for the next stage, which might involve a presentation, and also take a 1-hour General Aptitude assessment. Then, I spoke with the hiring manager for 30 minutes. After that, I was supposed to meet with an executive, but that meeting was rushed and unproductive because the executive had another commitment. The executive ended the call early, and I didn't even get to ask all my questions before they had to leave. The next week, I got a rejection email from a different TA specialist, with no feedback. The whole process took about 4.5 hours.

A Talent Acquisition Specialist from Insite reached out to me about a role. I then scheduled a call with their Talent Acquisition Manager for the following day. The call happened a couple minutes late, and the manager told me the position was no longer available because they had spoken with the executive team and decided not to hire for it. While I get that things can change fast, I wish I'd gotten an email about it the night before or that morning. This is a first for me. I would have appreciated some heads-up.

So, the recruiter for this role was pretty unprofessional. They had me do a case study first. Once I finished and sent it over, they said they'd schedule me for an interview. But after I sent back my availability, they told me the position was already filled. Super weird experience. Makes you wonder if they actually care about how candidates feel.

It was tough, I went through 3 interviews before I was hired. I’ve been here for 3 years and I’m still growing and getting feedback. You need to show how your talents fit our culture.
