I had a phone interview and then an in-person one. I met a few people who seemed great to work with! The whole thing took about 1-2 weeks. I think the consultant role has a longer process though.

Behavioral Case Presentation

The process is pretty long but valuable, almost regardless of the outcome. Starts with a preliminary review that is mostly fact gathering. Then record a video about why I want to work at Insigniam, do a personality profile, and write two essays on consulting and something in the news. Then 30-60" interviews with 3 people and then 1 hour interviews with the two founders.

Technical Other

I spent a lot of time on assignments, interviews, and a long, specialized assessment. But, they only wanted local candidates, which was surprising because I was upfront about my location and need for a hybrid role from the start. They led me on for almost three quarters unnecessarily. It seems like a cool place to work, but I was disappointed by the lack of transparency.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process started with an in-person interview a week after I applied. The employees downstairs gave off a bad vibe. The first interviewers seemed okay, asking relevant questions about my experience and skills. But then I met the founding partner, who was incredibly unprofessional. She made assumptions about my resume without letting me respond, and even belittled me. The interview went downhill from there. They mentioned the position had been open for a while, and after meeting her, I understood why. I wouldn't work for someone like that, even for much more money. I've had great bosses, but I'd tell anyone not to work here unless they were desperate.
