It took about 5 weeks. I got a call within a week of applying for a phone screen. I then took an online assessment which was proctored, and I thought that was very strange. Then, I had two separate video interviews with leadership. Final interview was with the team itself and included a mock demonstration complete with PowerPoint and Q&A. It was an unnecessarily long process, the first two interviews could have been combined, and it took recruiting a week between interviews to schedule the next. Mock presentation was the most difficult/time-consuming part as it required some preparation and creativity, but this also gave me an opportunity to show off a little. Overall, the process was slow, recruiting was slow, and while I accepted the offer ultimately, I had seriously considered dropping out of the process.

It was a really quick video call with the hiring manager after an internal recruiter reached out. We talked about my background and a brief overview of the business, focusing on the revenue part. They were really keen on my sales cycle management and forecasting skills. It all seemed legit, but they had zero empathy and seemed annoyed by my questions about team quotas and what's expected from new hires. I decided to withdraw my application.

I was working with Kristie through this process. Had a great call with her, she's very easy to talk to and a genuine person. Next was a call with the hiring manager where we discussed my previous roles, sales style, leadership style, quota attainment, etc. Third round was a panel with the hiring manager and another manager where they asked a series of situational questions. This part was actually kind of fun and took out the awkwardness of having to remember things you've done in your past and "tell me about a time" instead it was "how would you address this problem". No one likes "tell me about a time questions". I unfortunately didn't move on past the 3rd round, I think there were another 20,000 people laid off in the tech world and the market became more saturated with candidates with more industry knowledge. You'll have a good chance of moving through the interview phone screen if you have ERP knowledge.
