The process kicks off with a phone chat covering the basics of your role, your CV, achievements, and why you're looking to move on. After that, I had to do a behavioral profile and a learning questionnaire. Then, it was a face-to-face with the Sales Manager/Director and HR. The vibe in reception was good, with people being friendly and helpful while I waited, even though there wasn't a receptionist. They also had pictures of fun team events on display, which added to the positive atmosphere.

I applied online and a recruiter emailed me for a phone interview. I found out later it was a junior role and not very motivating long-term. I also saw an Enterprise Account Manager role that I preferred. I told the first recruiter, and she agreed I'd be better for that role and would connect me with the recruiter for it. My initial experience was good. The second recruiter reached out and scheduled a call, but had to cancel due to an emergency. We rescheduled. Our call was bad. The recruiter didn't build any rapport and just asked 'Hi, so what do you know about Insight'. She seemed hostile, possibly having a bad day. It felt like an interrogation. At the end, she said she'd pass my info to the hiring manager for an interview. After 4-5 days with no response, I emailed to follow up. I was basically told there wouldn't be an interview and good luck. This was the worst recruiter experience I've had. Very unprofessional. Good luck Insight!
