Started with a Hirevue, then there was a long wait of 2-3 months before an HR screening call. After that, it was Superday Day 1. If I did well, I got invited to a day 2. The first day is all with junior/mid-level staff, and the second day is with MDs.
- All behavioral questions and grilling on why tech/tech trends.

It was a two round process, one on campus and one in NYC. The company handled the entire process very poorly. On the day of the interviews, they took each candidate aside and told some of them to hang back and told the others good job. They took the ones that they told good job and put them in a cab, and the ones they told to hang back were given offers and had to sign right there. When I asked why some people weren't getting in the cabs, they lied and said that they were splitting the taxis based on the number of people. But one of my friends texted me saying that they weren't being put in a cab, and instead got offers. Great news for my friend, really bad news for everyone in the cab. Overall, very unprofessional firm.
- Could you please walk me through your resume?
- What makes you a good candidate for this position? / Why should we hire you?
Analyst
For this role, the interview process was entirely behavioral, and it required significant learning about the market, investors, and specific past and present portfolio companies to perform well. Overall, I'd say it's easy, but since behavioral interviews can be subjective, your success might depend on how an interviewer feels about you.
- Can you introduce yourself?
