I made it to the second interview, but they disqualified me due to a lack of required experience, which wasn't listed on the job post. They told me I had the desired skills and certifications in the first round, but then said the opposite in the second round. It felt like a waste of my time on that second call. I was discussing technical experience with talent managers. This interview was different from others; the interviewer didn't seem to be trying to sell the company or appeal to me at all.

The interview process was very professional and friendly, focusing on specific technical talent and customer-oriented behaviors. It was objective-oriented with no offensive remarks or nonsense questions. The recruiter was eager to help me find a position that fit my objectives and was efficient in her job search. As soon as she found a match, she contacted me to give me a head start for a customer interview. She was as excited as I was when I got the job offer. Working with people who care is important.

I was contacted by Insight Global for a Network Engineer role with Cisco. My recruiter, Corwin Elder, asked me some initial questions. He then informed me that Cisco wanted to interview me. Corwin was a great help throughout the entire process, checking in for feedback after each round and offering support. After completing 5 interview rounds, I was offered the position, and I'm very grateful to Corwin and the Insight Global team.
