Customer Support Representative
A few days after applying, I got a call from Rachel C., who was really nice and easy to talk to. She told me about the open positions and asked me more about my experience than what was on my resume. She kept in touch well via email and phone, and seemed genuinely invested in helping me find a job I'd like and also upholding her reputation. I also interacted with Erica, Curtis, Emily, Hannah, Chris, and Jason. They were all super nice, friendly, and clearly very proud of Insight Global, which makes it sound like a great company to work for and be a part of. I'm so happy I'll be joining them soon!
- Can you tell me about something you're most proud of, whether it's personal or from your work?
Customer Support Representative
The interview process was really fast. A recruiter called me to see if I was interested in a 3-month contract customer support role at Cisco. We met in person the next day, and the recruiter told me about the job and checked if I was a good fit. The recruiter was super nice and helpful. Then, I had an interview with Cisco the day after that. These recruiters are awesome to work with; they really do their best for candidates and clients. They were upfront about everything and communicated clearly and quickly. They called when they said they would, and they were always helpful, friendly, and professional.
- What are your long-term career aspirations?
Customer Service Representative
I was contacted by a staffing company about a job at a local company. The details about the job kept changing, like the company, location, and hours. Even though the recruiters were nice, they weren't truthful. I later found the job listing online for 30% more than they told me. I was relieved when they called to say the position was filled, as I didn't want to negotiate with them. Be cautious, as they profit from both sides, but they are very dishonest about it. I'd rather they told me I'm paying a Finder's Fee instead of lying. Their deceitful practices don't serve the client's best interests.
