Got a message from a recruiter on LinkedIn. Had a 30-minute Zoom call with the Sr. Recruiter. They were really nice and friendly, made me feel good about the company and the next steps. Then, I interviewed with the client. About 30 minutes after that, they let me know they liked me and wanted to move forward. After that, I was ghosted. I reached out for an update but never heard back. Super disappointing, I really hoped this company would be different.

The hiring process included an in-office interview with Insight Global. We talked about my resume, potential opportunities, and settled on a pay rate range. My first interview was scheduled quickly, and I got an offer from the client the same day. This fast turnaround confirmed my good first impression of the hiring manager, Brittany A., in the Columbus, Oh office. She seemed to know the job and the client's needs well and genuinely wanted to find the best match for me. It all went really well, and the whole thing was fast, easy, and great.

It was a long and disorganized interview process that felt disrespectful. They tried to downplay my experience and salary expectations, acting like they were the best company. There were three interview rounds with several accommodations. They were all smiles, then they ghosted me. This approach might work for mediocre professionals, but I'm highlighting this to show their dishonesty and disrespect towards candidates. This was particularly true with one of the Account Managers for that 'big' but financially unstable airline company.
