The interview process involves 5 stages: HR, a case study, a technical interview, a chat with the department head, and finally, a meeting with the CTO. However, the first 4 stages are not really important. The main event is a 20-30 minute meeting with the CTO. I got negative feedback after this, apparently because I was too excited, even though I did well. It sounds funny, but that was the only issue. Don't think the stages are a big deal; it really comes down to whether the CTO likes you. After the last stage, they might just say you did well but were too excited. The HR person was great, and the meeting with the team lead was a nice experience.

The HR screening was rough. Multiple HR contacts, none aware of the others' actions, leading to repeated CV/info submissions. They were unclear about the company's business and the role's responsibilities, resorting to 'Check out the website!' responses. The technical interviews were also poorly executed, with a blurred line between friendly and disrespectful interaction. The simulated 'friendly environment' felt artificial, unlike genuine startup cultures. The requirement for a 10-HOUR game implementation before even checking GitHub or Stack Overflow for a senior developer candidate showed a disregard for their time. This interview experience clarified the company's poor local reputation.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Implement a JS game that's anticipated to take 10 hours.
  • Detail the inner workings of specific JS framework features.
