This interview was way more stressful than it needed to be. I mentioned that it was a beginner position and that my past experience was in a small company (20-50 people), but the interviewer kept asking about my experience with the same work environment as Insider, which I found to be pretty demanding given my background.

I had a great time interviewing for the Product Designer role at Insider. They inquired about my qualifications, my past experience, and my availability for the following interview stages.

Presentation Behavioral

I applied online and got contacted by the chapter lead for an initial chat. They explained their team structure and how they work. Then, I was asked to do a case study presentation. I had actually already accepted another offer and declined it 2 days before, but I did the presentation anyway. It involved 5 product designers, and I felt it wasn't very professional. Instead of a discussion about my experience and skills, I just presented my case study, and they didn't ask me anything about it. They only asked general questions like how I handle conflict. Two days later, I got an email saying they weren't moving forward with my application. I asked for feedback, but they didn't provide any. So, it seems like you shouldn't mess with their egos, they are pretty sensitive.
