Inside Sales Representative
I applied online and then had to chase down the recruiter multiple times because they weren't responding to calls or emails. When I arrived at the Brooklyn location, the building seemed old and run down, with people just hanging out in the parking lot, which suggested a lack of a dress code and unprofessionalism. The interviewer wasn't much better, and it was hard to take the interview seriously given the negative online reviews about working there. I didn't hear back the following week as promised, so I told the recruiter I was no longer interested and withdrawing my application. I was only planning to work there for a few months while I continued my job search, but it wouldn't have been worth my time.
- Would you be okay with selling to people over 70 years old?
Sales
I sat down with 3 managers for the interview, which felt pretty intimidating at first, but I felt prepared. It seemed like one of the managers was really against hiring me initially, maybe because I'm a woman? She was the only one who didn't want to hire me, saying I was 'too strong'. Funny thing is, I ended up being one of their top performers after I got hired.
- How would you locate doctors' contact details on the internet?
Sales Representative
The interview started with a phone call, then I had an in-person meeting with two of the hiring managers. The questions weren't too tough. They asked about my sales background and if I had any experience in healthcare. After I got the offer, it was about a month until the next training class started. They also asked about my ability to work in a team and my comfort level speaking with seniors over the phone.
