First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Innovative Client Connections.
Team Leader
So there's a three step interview process if you get selected. First, you'll chat with a manager on the phone for like 15 mins. If that goes well, you'll meet with some leaders. This second interview is with a leader on zoom, about 20 mins. Then, if you get a call back, you'll have an interview with the CEO. The final interview is in person at our main office in Southfield MI.
- Can you tell me about your past work experiences?
- What drives you?
- What are you looking for in a job right now?
Marketing Assistant
I had a 3 part interview process. I interviewed with Carl, who was very friendly and it felt like an easy conversation. I was given the chance for a second interview, but declined because I did not feel that the job was right for me. I applied for a Marketing position but at the interview I was told everyone starts out in in-store sales for Direct TV, and this is not a position I was interested in.
- What makes you stand out from other candidates?
- What would your references say about you if contacted?
- What is your main motivation?
Sales Team Leader
First you have a phone call just to make sure you're not weird. Then, a Zoom meeting with a Team Leader who talks more about the job than asks about you, but they send a questionnaire beforehand. They'll give you a situation about how the company, retailers, and clients interact and want to see you try to answer it. The last round is in person with a manager; if you get called for a third round, you've basically got it. They'll just go over everything again from the Zoom call.
- Considering the relationship between the company, retailers, and clients, why do you believe our clients favor using a third-party marketing company?
Corporate Account Manager
I applied online and then HR rep Kaylyn called me. We set up an interview for the Lansing, MI location for the corporate account manager position. Turns out, that's just a title to get you in the door. The interview was only 15 mins and they said no matter what, you start in phase 1 as a sales rep at Walmart or Meijer for $10/hr. This is a waste of time if you have a bachelor's degree.
- What is your motivation?
- What makes you unique?
- How did you find out about this opportunity?
