Director
The interview process involved multiple rounds. There was a complex case study that required rescheduling a few times. Some panel interviews weren't great because certain panel members were really quiet and didn't engage. The case study itself raised some flags for me; it felt like they were trying to get free work. My advice would be to be mindful of this and be strategic with your time. Don't give away your full analysis or presentation; share just enough. Interestingly, the hiring manager mentioned wanting to offer me two roles and aimed to finalize things in 2-3 days, but then there was silence, and ultimately no offer. From my perspective, the interview process wasn't handled professionally.
- Can you start by telling me about yourself?
- What about this role interests you?
- Could you present your analysis for the complex case study, which required significant analytical ability?
Director
It was a really long interview process. I had to meet with five different people, and there was also some kind of "case study" that wasn't really a case study. They asked the same old interview questions without really digging into my answers or asking follow-ups. What was even weirder was when one interviewer started asking really specific questions about competitive intelligence, trying to figure out how my current company was different from one of our biggest competitors. I tried to steer the conversation back to the role and only talked about public information, but they kept focusing on my company's differentiators. It felt super inappropriate for an interview. It's been about four weeks since my last interview, and I haven't heard anything. I've emailed the recruiter a few times, but still no response. Even between interviews, the recruiter would take weeks to reply. You'd think after all that time spent interviewing, they'd at least communicate something, even if it's a rejection. I haven't even gotten a generic rejection email, but I wouldn't be shocked if that's how it ends. Based on how disorganized and scattered the interview process was, I definitely wouldn't recommend working here.
- Tried to get competitive intel from my current company.
Director
Really positive experience, recruiters were super proactive. Started with application shortlisting and a 20-25 min general chat with the recruiter. Then, after 3-4 days, got an invite for a hour-long technical discussion with senior leadership. The next step was a quick chat with Kanav, followed by a final discussion with HR about compensation.
- Could you walk me through the projects you've worked on, detailing your specific roles and responsibilities?
- Please describe an interesting project you were involved in.
