First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Innomar Strategies.
Caseworker
The first round was really good, with behavioral and logical questions. They asked about my past experience and how it relates to the role. The second round surprised me. The interviewer said she just wanted to meet and say hello, and that it wasn't an interview, but then asked 2-3 questions similar to the first round, and I gave the same answers. I followed up with HR the next week, but they never replied and I got an automated email saying the position was filled.
- What experience from your past job would you carry forward?
Field Case Manager
I was contacted directly by a recruiter for a position, and we scheduled an interview for the following week. The interview went well, and they asked the typical interview questions. Two managers interviewed me, and at the end, they said I should hear back by the end of the next week. However, the next week ended with no word. I reached out to both managers for an update, but neither responded. Instead, an HR rep emailed me to say the position was closing due to changing business needs. It was unexpected since they reached out to me first. It felt unprofessional, especially since the hiring manager didn't communicate this directly to me.
- Why are you the best candidate for this job?
Customer Service Representative
I applied online and got a referral from someone inside. They called me for an interview and then asked for a typing test, which I did well on. After about 10 days, I followed up with HR, but they had already moved on with another candidate. Two weeks later, I got an email for a similar job, and HR asked if I was still interested, which I was. I went for the interview, and the hiring manager, who seemed very young, was a bit rude, making comments about the age range of the team. After another 10 days of waiting, I followed up again and got the same response: they chose someone else. It wasn't a great experience.
- Can you tell me about a time you handled a difficult customer and how you resolved the situation?
Talent Acquisition
The interview process was very pleasant and thorough. The interviewer asked great questions and made it as comfortable and interactive as possible. After the interview, I had a better idea of the day-to-day responsibilities of the role. The interviewer provided a timeline for the next steps. I followed up on the provided timeline but was not selected to move forward. Although it wasn't the desired outcome, it was a pleasant professional experience.
- Could you introduce yourself?
- What motivates you to work for this organization?
