First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Inmar.
Software Engineer
The interview process wasn't too bad or hard. Everyone I talked to was really nice. But after doing some tests to show what I could do, I never heard back from anyone. That was super unprofessional. I even tried contacting the people who originally reached out, and they didn't respond either. I would have at least expected something like 'We're not hiring for that position anymore.' Or some kind of message saying they didn't need me. I did like how friendly they were though!
- Typical questions expected for your role, with basic to advanced difficulty, given a 3-hour time limit.
Software Engineer
Had a 30-minute chat with the Recruiter, mostly getting info and some basic questions. Then, a 30-minute call with the Hiring Manager. They asked about my resume projects, as expected. It's been nearly 4 weeks since my interview and I still haven't heard anything. This year, I've interviewed with over 10 companies and heard back within a week from all of them. Inmar was the only one that didn't even bother to let me know I wasn't selected. The interviews themselves were fine, but the lack of communication after being told I'd get an update really left a bad impression, especially since I followed up a few times and was apparently lied to each time.
- When you make an API request, what kind of response do you typically receive?
Senior Software Engineer
Started with an email from HR, then a phone call with the manager, followed by another phone call with HR. After that, there was a coding test with some back and forth for updates. Then a video call interview, and finally an in-person interview before the offer.
- Could you walk us through the projects listed on your resume?
