First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Inmar.
Customer Success Manager
The interview process had five steps: HR, Manager, Team, VP, and SR VP. It was very informal. I moved through the process quickly and got an offer. The whole thing took under three weeks. The team communicated well between steps, and I got feedback within 24 hours.
- Can you share your background with consumer promotions and CPG?
Software Engineering Manager
Applied and a week later got a recruiter message to set up a screening. After that round, I waited two weeks, then the recruiter set up a panel with several managers. One manager was great, but the other was old-school and criticized me for job-hopping due to one short previous role. A few days later, I had another panel with architects. Their questions weren't too tough, but their tech seemed outdated and their expectations differed from the prior panel. Later that week, the recruiter set up a meeting with the head of engineering, making it sound like a final step before an offer. This round was similar to the tech lead one, with more job expectation mismatches and old tech. Two weeks after that, I got an email saying they picked someone else.
- Can you tell me about your past projects?
- What's your experience with data?
- How do you deal with conflicts?
Health and Safety Manager
I talked to HR first, but they didn't seem to know much about the job. Then I interviewed with the hiring manager, who didn't ask many questions, which I found a bit odd. They still moved me forward to a panel interview. The panel interview happened after they rescheduled me twice. After that, I was supposed to interview with the VP. I had to change my schedule around a lot for these interviews, and it felt like they weren't really considering the inconvenience. The company seems pretty disorganized.

Customer Service Representative
I went through three zoom interviews with Inmar. After all that, they told me I was overqualified and worried I wouldn't stick around. I kept saying I wanted to learn the business from the bottom up and move up in the company. I was fine with the low pay to prove myself. It's weird they had me do three interviews. Just a heads up, the pay is really bad - you could make the same or more at a retail store. It's under $30k a year.
- Be ready to discuss your past experiences and work history.
- Expect situational questions, though I don't recall specific examples.
- Can you share an example of how you've handled a challenging customer interaction?
