Behavioral Presentation Case

Got a quick reply after applying, and the initial screening was scheduled fast. I got confirmation the next day that I was moving on to the hiring manager stage, and that interview was completed within two days. This was great. However, there was no further movement for about a month, until I was asked to complete an assessment. I received very positive feedback via email about my assessment and was then asked to schedule a panel interview where I would present my case study. This interview was interesting. Two people asked me several questions. One interviewer asked me three questions about a very specific part of my presentation. I mentioned that I wasn't an expert in that particular area, but if we were to implement that idea (out of about 12 in my presentation), I would definitely do more research. Shortly after this, I was informed that other candidates had skills that were a better match. Despite requesting more detailed feedback, none was provided, and I received no further communication. It was a bit unsettling to get positive responses to my work, only to be told after presenting it that my skills weren't a good fit, even though I had the same skills when I spent hours creating the presentation. To top it off, the job was reposted a few weeks later.

Case Behavioral

Had a brief initial screen, then was given a case study where I had to make two videos responding to their content. The negative part was they wouldn't give a straight answer on the actual pay range, and the pay range on the ad had a huge ($100,000k+) difference. Before I did the case study, I asked for the actual range, got the run around, and finally was told you only find out after the whole process. Why waste everyone's time with shady nonsense like this? This is a sign of very low regard for people’s time, effort, and expertise. I withdrew my application.

I applied for the Graphic Designer role on August 2nd and got a reply on August 6th stating they were considering me. They then sent over 2 test projects to be completed in 2 days. I put a lot of effort into researching the company and creating the designs, even detailing my design process. I followed up a week later expressing my interest and asking for feedback, but I never heard back. It's been over a month now. I saw an old Glassdoor review from 6 years ago mentioning a similar experience of creating test designs and then being ghosted by Inkitt, which is disappointing to see they still operate this way.

Behavioral Case Technical Presentation

The talent acquisition team was super quick with updates, big shout out to Sofia! The whole thing was pretty nice, but wow, a lot of steps: first a screening call, then a chat with the Hiring Manager, followed by a Case Interview and a short 30-minute test to complete. After that, there was a 90-minute interview using the WHO method. I know this is how it's done in many places now, but it felt like a lot, and honestly, I wasn't super keen on the later stages by the end. It definitely depends on the person though :) Sometimes the interviewers didn't have the answers to my questions, which is fine, but it made me question what they were actually looking for. Overall, everyone was really friendly and communicated well.
