Sales Executive
I sent my CV on a Thursday and got a call from the Recruitment & HR Manager about 30 minutes later. We talked about why I moved to London, and I was invited for an interview on Tuesday at the Ink HQ. I wasn't expecting much because many companies promise the world with flashy websites. However, Glassdoor reviews made me a bit curious about Ink. The HQ was easy to reach. After a long chat with the HR Manager, I met the Sales Manager. We talked for a long time, and I felt they really wanted to know me. They asked if I could start immediately, and I said yes. They then set up an interview with the Sales Director for the same day. After lunch, I had my third interview. The Sales Director seemed to be testing me to make me nervous, but I felt comfortable and like I'd fit in. It seems I did, because I got hired and started the very next day. It was the best interview experience I've ever had. Even after a few days at work, I'm still excited about starting my training, and the colleagues are great, making it easy to get to work.

Sales Executive
I interviewed about 6 months ago for a Sales Executive role. There were two of us interviewing. It quickly became apparent that this is not a place with a good working environment where employees are respected and appreciated. A specific exercise I remember was the balloon debate. My interview partner and I had to pick a celebrity we'd want to be. Then, we had to pretend we were in a hot air balloon that was losing altitude quickly and was about to crash due to being overweight, meaning one of us had to die. We were given 10 minutes to decide who would die. My understanding is this exercise was meant to reveal our values. The interviewer seemed bored by the debate and left the room for 5 minutes. Her main concern was whether we reached an agreement. We did not. Her feedback was questioning how we'd handle our daily workload if we couldn't make decisions. Needless to say, I didn't get the job. At the end, the HR person showed us the large sales team office. You could really feel the tension and pressure in that room. The people there didn't seem motivated or happy. After reading Glassdoor reviews, I was relieved not to be called for a second interview. It was clear that Ink's values and ethics are not very high, and it wouldn't be a place where you'd wake up with energy and look forward to work.

Sales Executive
This interview process was a complete waste of time, taking two months. They were evasive and delayed giving an answer, repeatedly saying they didn't want to lose me from the process. It included phone interviews, a face-to-face with the manager, a project with potential clients, a role-play phone call, and a final interview. I wouldn't recommend Ink; they over-promise and under-deliver, failing to follow through on their commitments. Be prepared to waste significant time on your job search with a company that frequently misleads.
- Can you tell me about the last sales book you read?
