Case

Got referred by my old employer. Went through a phone screen and then was invited to Boston for an interview with the team. The process was standard, but I didn't hear back after following up with the manager. This review is a bit old though. The manager said they would make a decision soon and I'd hear back after a certain date. Not following up, even with a rejection, especially after candidates travel from out of state for what seemed like a final or near-final interview step, isn't great.

I had a phone interview, then an in-person interview. Before the in-person, there was an assignment that was supposed to take 1-2 hours. The in-person consisted of two interviews, each lasting about 30 minutes, with two interviewers each. They asked behavioral and background questions and went over the assignment. It felt like they repeated the same interview twice. They told me over the phone that I wouldn't be moving on to the next stage, which was nice of them to communicate clearly.

The ICCC interview process had three rounds. First, a phone screen. Second, an interview with the Director and the whole team, which included an Excel test. Finally, a "fit" test with the team and a meeting with the CEO. (This was for a 2017 application, so it may have changed). The second round was the hardest; it involved doing mock calls with small businesses you were trying to recruit, and they would try to catch you off guard, but it was really about how you handled it. The "fit" test with the team had team-building exercises, like describing a photo for someone to draw and designing your ideal office space.
