First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ingredion.
Process Engineer
I was contacted by email and scheduled for an interview that was held virtually via Microsoft Teams. I also had to complete an online assessment test through Korn Ferry Assessments. I was told I would hear back the following week, but I never did.
- Could you tell me about yourself?
- Describe a situation where you observed a safety violation at work and explain your response.
- How would you manage a disagreement with a colleague?
Process Engineer
I applied online and heard back from HR about 2 days later to set up a phone chat with the talent acquisition manager. That call was mostly to see if I was interested in the company and the role and to go over my resume. After that, HR emailed again to set up another phone call, this time with the HR manager and two senior Engineers. They really dug into my resume, talked about the job, and asked me some general behavioral questions.
- Be ready to share examples of leadership.
- How have you handled difficult or problematic situations?
Process Engineer
The interview process was good, with several tests including logic, specific knowledge, and general information. It started with a phone test, followed by an English conversation test with a third party, a logic test, and other assessments. Then, there was an interview with HR, the area manager, the CI manager, and the SA CI manager.
- What are your thoughts on safety first?
- What knowledge do you possess regarding safety?
