First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ingram Micro.
Financial Analyst Intern
It was a pretty straightforward and simple process with one completed application and one online interview. The internship was worth it in terms of gaining knowledge of financial statements and handling some accounting/financial tasks and principles.
- What are your motivations for pursuing a career in this field?
Financial Analyst
So there were a few parts to this. First, I had an initial chat with HR. Then, I met the actual team I would be working with. After that, I had to do an online test for accounting stuff and an Excel exercise. Finally, I had a meeting with a manager where they reviewed my test results.
- Could you define working capital and explain its significance for an analyst?
Financial Analyst
I was reached out to by an Ingram recruiter and came in two times to meet directors and teams. The two rounds of interviews seemed to go well, but then I was left in the dark. It's been 3 weeks since the second round, and neither the recruiter nor the hiring manager has replied to my follow up emails. Very unprofessional and a waste of my time.
