The interview process was super amicable and streamlined. Started with a one-on-one chat with the hiring manager to go over my skills. Then, there were 3 sets of interviews with the team members. All my interviewers were super friendly, on time, and very understanding. They answered all my questions about the work culture and how the team operates. Overall, a great experience!!!

Coding Technical

There were about 7-8 rounds of interviews, but this number could go up depending on their choice. Each interview felt like the final one. We started with a coding test where the questions weren't very clear. Then there were a few Monjin tests; one time the panel wasn't available and I had to wait, another time it was rescheduled last minute. The Monjin tests included a mix of coding and technical, and then just technical. After that, there were several technical interviews with different people: Sandeep, Nick, Sanath, and Krishna.

I applied online, then followed up after connecting on LinkedIn. The process was really fast! After applying online it took two days to set up a phone interview. My phone screening went really well, and they were understanding of the department and company. I was then invited that same week to meet with the department managers. I had three interviewers and they were friendly and really showed the positive company culture. The first interview was with the Customer Service department Manager, then Risk Management, then the VP of Customer Service. It was simple and straightforward, asking about my background and interest in the position. The first half was informal with easy questions, and the second half had a more serious tone with more complex questions.

Applied via LinkedIn and was contacted by HR. Completed a 1-hour object-oriented design problem. HR confirmed I passed and scheduled a 1-hour phone screen with the VP of core engineering. Prior to that, there was a 15-minute call with HR. On the interview day, I spoke with HR first, discussed my visa status, and she said she'd check with the team. Shortly after, the 1-hour interview with the VP was rescheduled to 15 minutes. During the call with the VP, I was given a design problem related to their business. I presented a couple of approaches, but it seemed he expected a specific solution. He ultimately said it wouldn't work and provided his solution, mentioning they were looking for someone "super super" senior. My advice would be that you can't gauge someone's full experience in 15 minutes. Overall, I appreciate the opportunity to learn about the company.
