First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Infosys BPM.
Assistant Manager
So there were 2 rounds, and both were technical. The questions were all about the role, like how to calculate COGS, Gross Margin, Net Margin, and also about flexible budgeting.
- Can you explain calculations related to COGS and Budgeting?
Management Trainee
I attended the first round on campus for Management Trainee - HR at Great Lakes. The PPT was good and the interviewer seemed to care about my morality and personality. They asked me personal/BEI questions for over an hour. I was selected for the next round, which was a teleconference at their office. They asked domain questions and case studies. The panelist praised me during the interview. But when asked if I'd work night shifts, I said no, but I would stretch on need basis. They seemed fine with it then, but I probably didn't get the job because of it. Overall, I wish they were more approachable and transparent.
- Would you be okay with working night shifts?
Manager
The interview went well overall, but the Partner seemed unsure about my profile and didn't ask many questions. Interestingly, a technical person was conducting the interview for what is essentially a business role. They seemed quite clueless about the position, despite me having a detailed round just before this one.

- Are there any other specific projects you'd like to discuss?
